Personalised Slate Heart Board

Our slate board designed and handcrafted by us from Cumbrian slate makes the perfect gift for special ocassions and comes in a beautiful gift box.

We are a family who are proud that our beautiful slate products are designed, quarried, crafted, personalised for you, wrapped and packaged in the heart of the Lake District.

There are lots of slate boards on the market but ours are different - We use the traditional V Deep Cut method of engraving which means that the engraving will last and look stunning for years. (It wont wash off like some other so called 'engraving'!) We also polish all of our slate boards around the edge, most boards on the market are not finished with such a beautiful edge and all our slate is from the UK (not all can claim that either!!)

We can engrave up to 20 characters on the left edge and 20 characters on the right edge of the heart. If you require any more characters then be in touch and we will try to help.

The board has small cork mats underneath so it will not scratch a work surface.

Following requests our workshop has perfected our beautiful cheese knife. We offer a special price if you order a knife at the same time as your board, the plain one £24, engraved one on one side (12 characters) £34 and for 2 sides (12 characters on each side). Our cheese knives are hand crafted to complement our cheese boards.

Please note that your engraving will appear exactly as you enter it, including any capitalisation (e.g. Sarah, sarah, SARAH).

Our beautiful cheese knife handle is crafted and engraved in our workshop from Cumbrian slate our blade is fully hot forged in Sheffield. The blades are ground, glazed and rumbled before being fully cuttled, mirror polished and hand-finished.
