Personalised Slate British Round Board

Our beautiful boards are hand crafted in our Cumbrian Workshop. Made from Cumbrian slate they are packaged in a beautiful gift box.

We are a family who are proud that our beautiful slate products are designed, quarried, crafted, personalised for you in our workshop, wrapped and packaged in the heart of the Lake District.

There are lots of slate boards on the market but ours are different - We use the traditional V Deep Cut method of engraving which means that the engraving will last and look stunning for years. We also polish all of our slate boards around the edge, most boards on the market are not finished with such a beautiful edge and all our slate is from the UK (not all can claim that either!!)

We can engrave up to 40 characters around the edge of the board or 20 characters around the top and 20 characters around the bottom for £64. Following requests we can engrave up to 80 characters around the edge of the board (we make the font slightly smaller) for an additional £30.

You can add a message to be engraved centrally on the back of the board (up to 40 characters) for an additional £20.

The board has small cork mats underneath surfaces are not scratched.

Please note that your engraving will appear exactly as you enter it, including any capitalisation (e.g. Emma, emma, EMMA).

Our workshop has perfected our beautiful cheese knife. We offer a special price if you order a knife at the same time as your board, the plain one is £24, the engraved on one side (12 characters) £34 and engraved on two sides (12 characters each side) £39. Our cheese knives are hand crafted to complement our cheese boards with a Cumbrian slate handle and a stainless steel blade made in Sheffield.

Your board and knife will arrive in a beautiful black gift box with a hand tied ribbon.

Our beautiful cheese knife handle is crafted and engraved in our workshop from Cumbrian slate our blade is fully hot forged in Sheffield. The blades are ground, glazed and rumbled before being fully cuttled, mirror polished and hand-finished.
