Wedding Cake Personalised Slate Board

Our slate board designed and handcrafted by us from Cumbrian slate makes a beautiful cake board for a special occassion.

We are a family who are proud that our beautiful slate products are designed, quarried, crafted, personalised for you, wrapped and packaged in the heart of the Lake District.

There are lots of slate boards on the market but ours are different - We use the traditional V Deep Cut method of engraving which means that the engraving will last and look stunning for years. (It wont wash off like some other so called 'engraving'!) We also polish all of our slate boards around the edge, most boards on the market are not finished with such a beautiful edge and all our slate is from the UK (not all can claim that either!!)

Our cake board with beautiful engraving can be used after your special day as a cheese or serving board to remember your big day forever.

We can engrave up to 40 characters around the edge of the board or 20 characters around the top and 20 characters around the bottom. If you require more characters then please be in touch and we will see if we can help. Please note that your engraving will appear exactly as you enter it, including any capitalisation (e.g. Amanda, amanda, AMANDA) and all the engraving faces outwards.

The board has small cork mats underneath so that it will not scratch a work surface.

Following lots of requests our workshop has now perfected our beautiful cheese knife and cake knife. We offer a special price if you order a knife at the same time as your board, you can engrave up to 14 characters on both sides of the knife handle. Our knives are hand crafted to complement our cheese boards with a Cumbrian slate handle and a stainless steel blade made in Sheffield.

Your board and knife will arrive in a beautiful black gift box with a hand tied ribbon.
